Participant Consent


We are required to comply with Federal and Provincial Privacy Legislation, Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and the Personal Health Information Protection Act and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.

In order to do so, each of our members must electronically acknowledge and sign a consent form acknowledging and allowing us to collect, use and disclose personal information according to specific guidelines. At BestlifeRewarded® the privacy of your personal information is of utmost importance. We are committed to collecting, using and disclosing your personal information responsibly. Our policies regarding your personal information are open and transparent.

At BestLifeRewarded® Innovations Inc., the providers of [Money Fit Challenge] we have an appointed Privacy Information Officer. All staff members are aware of the sensitive nature of the information that you have disclosed to us. They are trained in the appropriate uses and protection of your information; we are committed to adhering closely to our Privacy Policy.

  • performing research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies;
  • for clinical research, market research, education and other related research projects, on an anonymous basis only;
  • for the purpose of the challenge, powered by BestlifeRewarded reward fulfillment, e.g. shipping information may be shared with fulfillment providers where necessary. Any third-party group used for these purposes will sign a non-disclosure agreement with BestLifeRewarded® Innovations Inc., the providers of the challenge and will be required by law to keep your personal information confidential;
  • and to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements of provincial and federal laws

By registering on BestLifeRewarded® /Challenge site , you confirm you have reviewed the above information regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of the personal information, and have been given the opportunity to review the Privacy Policy for. You also acknowledge and agree that BestLifeRewarded Innovations Inc. can collect and use the personal information as described above, and in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

Exceptions to consent

We may collect, use or disclose personal information without your consent only:

  • For an emergency that threatens your life, health or security. We will subsequently inform you of this disclosure.
  • For legal reasons. We may be compelled to release this information by a court of law or other legal or regulatory authority. If so, our policy is to disclose the information only to the extent required.
  • To another organization for the purposes of investigating a breach of an agreement or a contravention of the laws of Canada or a province that has been, is being, or is about to be committed and it is reasonable to expect that disclosure with your knowledge or consent would compromise the investigation.
  • To another organization for the purposes of detecting or suppressing fraud or of preventing fraud that is likely to be committed and it is reasonable to expect that the disclosure with your knowledge or consent would compromise the ability to prevent, detect or suppress the fraud.
  • Made to a government institution, a part of a government institution or your next of kin or authorized representative and:
  • There are reasonable grounds to believe that you have been, are, or may be the victim of financial abuse, the disclosure is made solely for the purposes related to preventing or investigating the above, and it is reasonable to expect that disclosure with your knowledge or consent would compromise the ability to prevent or investigate the abuse.
  • In accordance with other provisions as provided for in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

Within two weeks of receiving your enquiry, the BestLifeRewarded Innovations Inc Privacy Officer will write or call to tell you the problem has been resolved, or, in more complex cases, advise you what further steps are being taken and when you may expect a resolution.
